The Automatic Baggage Singulator transforms a bulk flow of bags into a flow in which each bag is uniformly separated, spaced, and aligned before infeed to the Automated Tag Reader (ATR), Explosive Detection System (EDS), or induction point of a Tilt-Tray Sorter or ICS Top Loader.
Without singulation, bags arriving in bulk can jam at induction points, cause misread tags, and reduce overall BHS throughput. The singulator solves this by using sensor-triggered belt speed adjustments to create consistent spacing between bags — ensuring downstream equipment receives a clean, single-file flow every time.
