Baggage Centering Unit

Product Overview

The Baggage Centering Unit is designed to center and reposition bags laterally before entering EDS machines, ICS top loaders, and other downstream equipment. Precise lateral alignment is critical: when bags are off-center, EDS machines scan sub-optimally, and ICS top loaders may mis-load bags — causing jams or misrouting.

The centering unit uses a combination of conveyor belt geometry and sensor-triggered guides to reliably center bags of all shapes and sizes. It can be combined with singulators and edge-guiding devices to ensure consistent alignment throughout the induction line, with no gaps in coverage — making it an essential component of any high-performance BHS induction line.
